The vision of the worship ministry is to see Spirit-led, Spirit-filled worship services (and other opportunities) that glorify God, touch people’s hearts and transform their lives.

The mission of the worship ministry is to provide the time and place, the environment and atmosphere, and the content that help facilitate and enable God and worshippers to connect.

Current Needs

• The video team gives a video feed of the worship service to the patio (1^st service) and the parsonage (2^nd service). We are looking for more people to help tend the camera. If you would like to assist with this ministry team, contact Stephen Lock. (5/7/10)

There are various opportunities to serve as part of the team that "produces" the worship services.

• Creative Celebration Team: see below.
• Music ministry: Praise him with instruments and singing.
• Ushers & greeters: Practice hospitality.
• Chairs: Practice hospitality.
• Communion:
• Drama:
• Dance: Praise him with dancing.
• Sound: He who has ears, let him hear.
• Projection: He who has eyes, let him see.
• Video: He who has eyes, let him see.
• Friendship Table: Practice hospitality.
• The Well: Practice hospitality.

The Creative Celebration Team (CCT) is primarily responsible for "programming" the Sunday worship services. The team meets twice a month, and plans about two to three months out, sometimes more, with a certain amount of flexibility. The team considers 1) Pastor Russell’s preaching schedule and his sermon topics and notes, 2) church and ministry events (Vacation Bible School, preschool), 3) calendar events (e.g., Mothers’ Day).
