Pray at all times and on every occasion in the power of the Holy Spirit. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all Christians everywhere. (Ephesians 6:18)

Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. As you make your requests, plead for God’s mercy upon them, and give thanks. Pray this way for kings and all others who are in authority, so that we can live in peace and quietness, in godliness and dignity. (1 Timothy 2:1-2 )

Dear Church,

As commanded by the verses above God has called us to be of people of prayer. I believe that prayer is the foundation on which ministries can stand. I do not want to see ordinary worship services, ordinary preaching, and ordinary small groups. I envision spirit-filled worship, God empowered preaching, and life changing small groups, and the only way this will happen is when God’s people pray to God for his anointing. So won’t you take a moment to pray? Let's see God perform miracles as a result of our united prayer.
