Dear Team Members,

Greetings in our Savior’s precious name from PNG. I trust that this finds each of you well and encouraged in the Lord. I thank the Lord for your love, care and prayers for us here in the jungle.

6 months have gone by since I came back from home assignment. It just seems like yesterday. I am out at Hoskins for a break, which is my breather time after being in the bush for that long, time to relax, eat lots of ice cream, shop, etc.

The work is moving on well by the grace of our Lord. The teaching of the word of God and literacy etc. End of January, we witnessed 13 people testify their believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. This was in one of the 2 villages. Then more other people came asking to be taught, so the bible teachers are teaching them too. And in the village where we live 4 people believed in the Lord Jesus at the end of February. I am so thankful to see what the Lord is doing here. And there’s another village, 2 to 3 days walk, they are asking for some one to go and teach them the word of God, they have send word 3 times now, and the church here and us are hoping and praying that the bible teachers will respond to this call soon. Keep praying for this need and that the believers will be focused more on the Lord and what He wants them to do, things of this world destruct us too easily.

I praise God for the work team that came in from USA, they did a great deal of work, fixing and building things for us, they are a great blessing. And also the timber company came back in November and fixed the roads and the bridges, what a blessing to be able to drive almost every where.

I love and a appreciate you all! Let us constantly look to the Lord to encourage us in doing His will as we walk with Him day by day!

These friends came in the tribe to help fix every thing that needed to be fixed.

Do you appreciate the fact that you know how to read and write? These people are so happy to have finished the time of learning how to read and write.
